Each of our team members has extensive experience in the treatment of addiction and mental health disorders and is ready to help you achieve a fulfilling life of sobriety—one step at a time. Sober Living Houses (SLHs), aka sober homes or halfway houses, are safe, substance-free, supportive living facilities for those recovering from substance abuse. Ideal for those who’ve just been through inpatient or outpatient treatment, SLHs are supervised environments with rules that support sobriety, such as curfews, shared chores, and therapeutic meetings. Residents are also often trained on life skills and coping skills to make it easier to transition into society. SLHs also provide a strong sense of community that can lead to the kind of deep and lasting connections with other sober individuals that supports a new, healthy lifestyle.
Experience
This program provides parents the support to stay involved in the recovery process and embark the family in a healing path (something that seemed impossible in the midst of addiction). As our son actively works the program, we, parents, are given the tools and education to repair and foster healthy family dynamics and strive for a joyful life. We saw our son mature, we matured and learned a new way of life by setting boundaries for our adult child while loving him unconditionally. This program encompasses all the stages of recovery in a comprehensive way and provides a community for them to thrive. We are very thankful to everyone at New Life for saving so many lives.

He said that if an appellate court overturns his sentence of life without parole, he will ask that the case be sent back to his court for resentencing. Our structured sobriety programs have helped house members from all different cities, backgrounds and cultures. These structured living environments help people transition out of rehab. Residents have more freedom than they do during rehab, but still follow certain rules. Pat’s work in primary treatment has provided him with an opportunity to have a number of clients transition to Review Hope House over the past 18 years. He has seen firsthand the work that occurs there and the benefits for these young men in perpetuating their progress in recovery. Dave takes great pride and joy in being a small but hopefully successful part of the process.
